In Caribou Coffee's own words
“Caribou Coffee will post a reward for one (1) complimentary beverage of your choice (excluding bottled beverages) to your Caribou Perks account on your birthday so long as you have had a check-in within the previous six (6) months (a “Caribou Birthday Reward”). Caribou Birthday Rewards are not received retroactively.”
