About Portillo's

Portillo's gives rewards members a free slice of its famous chocolate cake for their birthday. Join with your birthday before the day so the reward is in your account. If you're building a Chicago-style birthday crawl, this is the dessert stop.

In Portillo's's own words
“Unless otherwise stated, birthday Reward (consists of one slice of chocolate cake) is valid for the member’s birthday month only; your child(ren) may be eligible to receive a birthday Reward if their birthday is listed on your account, and provided such child, if 16 -18 years of age, does not have their own Portillo’s account.”

From the program terms at portillos.com, read Oct 2026. Terms change; the link is the current version.
